Glenglassaugh Distillery

At Glenglassaugh Distillery we produce our whisky using the highest quality of Scottish barley and our traditional distilling methods. From the germination of the barley to the flow of the purest middle cuts of distilled spirit, every step of the carefully attended whisky process contributes to Glenglassaugh's distinctive character.

Knockdhu Distillery

The Knockdhu Distillery is situated in the picturesque village of Knock in Aberdeenshire, which is up in the in the north east corner of Scotland. Here at Knockdhu Distillery we do things a little differently and you're more than welcome to pay us a visit to find out more.

GLENDRONACH DISTILLERY

Join us on our 'Journey of Rediscovery'. From the malting floor to the traditional dunnage maturation warehouses, you will be taken on an inspiring journey, seeing first-hand the traditional methods that have been in use for nearly 200 years.

Ardmore Distillery

The Ardmore distillery sits at the highest point of the Northern railway line, 600 feet above sea level. Close to the small village of Kennethmont, the proximity to the railway line allowed founder Adam Teacher to transport materials from Glasgow to this remote corner of Aberdeenshire, helping the distillery flourish.

Royal Lochnagar distillery

Neighbouring Balmoral Castle, Royal Lochnagar is the perfect place to discover how Scotch Whisky is made. Watch as our team of operators tend to our traditional mashtun, gleaming copper stills and fill casks at our traditional distillery, which retains much of its original charm.

Fettercairn Distillery

Fettercairn distillery has been in operation since 1824, making it one of Scotland's oldest malt whisky distilleries. This area is one of Scotland's most fertile regions, and is why Fettercairn is hidden amongst its forests and glens. These distinct characteristics combine to produce a balanced malt whisky with a fine character.

Featuring dramatic cliff-tops, enchanting coves and wide sweeping beaches not to mention some of the best golf courses and restaurants, Aberdeenshire has something for everyone.

Scotland's Castle Trail

With over 300 castles, stately homes and ruins set against a stunning backdrop Aberdeenshire is unsurprisingly known as 'Scotland's Castle Country'. Why not visit the castle that inspired Bram Stoker's Dracula, Slains Castle or the famous Dunottar Castle which starred in Zeffirelli's movie version of Hamlet starring Mel Gibson.

Stone Circles, Standing Stones & Ancient Settlements

Unearth the Shire through the ages and discover perfectly preserved cairns, pictish symbol stones, hill forts, settlements and souterrains (underground chambers). Aberdeenshire boasts the largest collection of recumbent stone circles in the world, with some of the stones weighing up to an incredible 50 tons.

The Malt Whisky Trail

Playing host to over half the distilleries in Scotland, Speyside has the greatest concentration of malt whisky producers compared to every other whisky producing region. Find out more about your favourite Speyside malts, or let us showcase some you may not have tried yet. In the heart of the Trail lies the Speyside Cooperage, the only working cooperage in the UK where you can experience the ancient art of cask making.

Aberdeenshire Coastal Trail

Discover 165 continuous miles of dramatic cliff-tops, enchanting coves, paradise beaches, charming towns and marvellous wildlife on the Aberdeenshire Coastal Trail. Aberdeenshire Coastal Trail, also known as "Scotland's Dolphin Coast", is brimming with wide sweeping beaches, welcoming towns and villages and abundant wildlife.

Our Tour Bus

We can cater for up to 8 passengers aboard the "Malt Machine", our dedicated tour bus. We can take care of everything for you, from picking you up, organising lunch, finding accommodation as well as taking you to a fantastic selection of distilleries! (For tours of over 8 people please call us.)
