The Gordon Whisky Tour is one of our more popular destinations and it's easy to understand why. As well as sampling a few very nice drams at a couple of picturesque distilleries the tour also takes in views of Bennachie and visits a part of whisky folklore, The Grouse Inn, home to a whisky collection of over 700 bottles.
At the Inverurie Whisky Shop we have quickly established ourselves as one of the North East of Scotland's premier destinations for buying high quality Whisky. We now aim to bring you even closer to Scotland's National Drink through our Whisky Tours!
Focussing our Trips in the North East of Scotland's famous Highland Whisky Region, we have a stunning array of distilleries ready to welcome you in as part of your visit to Scotland.
Founded by the exuberant James Allardice in 1826, GlenDronach has been creating the finest sherried single malts for nearly 200 years. Located in Forgue by Huntly, the distillery's independent ownership has allowed them the freedom to rekindle the reputation of GlenDronach as a distiller of high quality whiskies of inimitable and individual character. A reputation that has travelled worldwide - to those in the know, it's a well kept secret. Now it's your chance to find out.
At Knockdhu Distillery the methods used to make 'anCnoc' (pronounced 'a-nock') whisky have hardly changed in over 100 years, and it's these traditional techniques that help to create it's distinctive, modern flavour. Bottled as 'anCnoc', this unique single malt has a mind of its own. The name originates from the Gaelic for 'Knock Hill' where the distillery water flows from one of it's springs. It's one of our most popular destinations and you'll understand why from the moment you set eyes on Knockdhu.
